  • This is the only currently open National Cemetery in North Carolina accepting burials of Veterans. This is the "new" Salisbury Cemetery, located behind and adjacent to the VA Medical Center. The historic Salisbury cemetery is located across town. The cemetery can be most easily accessed via the Statesville Blvd gate. Visitors are welcome from dawn to dusk but "recreational activities" are forbidden. Information on burial locations for both cemeteries can be accessed at the administration building.
