  Many people from all walks of life gather at Trading Ford Baptist Church, 3600 Long Ferry Road, to study the Bible in small groups and to worship God together. Members of this church are quick to offer a smile or a handshake to greet newbies.
  
  They offer Bible study classes for folks from birth (actually a nursery and preschool classes for those ages) to 100+. The worship style features an eclectic blend of music that includes bands and traditional choir, drama occasionally, and a sermon by Senior Pastor Mike Motley. Sometimes the Associate Pastor of Students Justin Lucas preaches. There are numerous opportunities for both members and guests to serve others through Celebrate Recovery, Baptist Women, Vacation Bible School, the Food Pantry ministry, tbe Kentucky Back to School distribution, and many other ways they can "love on" not only community members but also folks in this country and around the globe.
  
  The best thing about this church is the members' nonjudgmental, open, and welcoming hearts that embrace anyone ...without regard to wealth, poverty, age, popularity, ethnicity, political affiliations, appearance, or their past. The single aim of this group of Christ followers is to live in a manner that shows Jesus' death on the cross to redeem humanity and the power Jesus gives to believers to live a new life. It's all about knowing and passing on the love of Christ! John 3:16
